General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Falls for Taggert After Return from the ‘Dead’ – Trina Approves But Portia’s Furious?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the ABC soap has the perfect setup for an intriguing new romance. All they have to do is take advantage of it! GH fans know Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) recently talked to Ava Cassadine (Maura West) about Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) picking up some extra hours at the gallery. Portia softened a bit toward Ava and acknowledged that Ava does care about Trina.
Even so, Portia can’t get behind Ava’s lifestyle and some of the choices she’s made. Ava understood that and was supportive of Portia as a protective mom. By the time this conversation wrapped up, the overall idea was that Portia would lighten up – but she’d still be keeping an eye on Ava.
This is interesting because Portia is most likely keeping a whopper of a secret from Trina. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) seems to be Trina’s biological father based on the clues the show’s offered. When that shocker comes out, Trina isn’t going to be happy with her lying mom.
Of course, Taggert faked his death, so that’ll be another major issue for Trina to tackle. The man she thinks is her father has been lying to her as well.
Since Trina’s gotten so close to Ava, it seems likely Ava will jump in eventually and try to smooth things over for all parties involved.
Portia’s going to be just as livid with Taggert for faking his death and putting Trina through so much heartache, so it may be up to Ava to fix Trina and Taggert’s bond. Could love bloom in the process?
Many GH fans are honestly over this sham “Nava” marriage storyline. Ava does seem to have genuine feelings for Nikolas, but this story has gone on too long without any real movement.
Perhaps General Hospital needs to cut their losses when it comes to Nikolas and Ava. It seems like an Ava and Taggert pairing would be more interesting once he comes back in the picture. Maybe Trina could forgive Taggert with Ava’s help, especially since Taggert did what he did to protect Trina.
Portia, on the other hand, might not be forgiven for her paternity deception as quickly. Trina might dig her heels in on hating Curtis for a while and insist blood doesn’t matter. Taggert is Trina’s father in every way that counts.
Trina might support an Ava and Taggert rromance, so Portia would be furious over being shut out. It’d reignite the Portia and Ava conflict for some great General Hospital drama.
