Jessica Matten parents: Meet Theresa Ducharme
Jessica Matten is an Alberta-born Canadian actress and producer. Matten participated in the third season of Discovery Canada and Netflix’s Frontier, which starred Jason Momoa. She also started participating in the CW Network and CBC miniseries Burden of Truth in 2018.
Matten began appearing in Tribal on the APTN Network in 2020. In Alberta, Canada, she plays the recently appointed chief of an indigenous police unit. Matten also appears in the Disney/20th Century Fox studios’ horror film The Empty Man in 2020.
Matten co-starred in the AMC Network’s Dark Winds television series, produced by Robert Redford, George R. R. Martin, and Graham Roland, in 2022, alongside Zahn McClarnon and Kiowa Gordon.

Jessica’s family history has never been made public, except that her mother, Theresa Ducharme, is the founder and current CEO of Lemon Cree Non-Profit Society. Jessica enrolled at the University of Alberta after finishing her basic and secondary education, and she later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology.
