Pete Graves is one of the most popular and richest Television Presenter who was born on April 7, 1982 in Hexham, United Kingdom. The first time Pete appeared as a national TV reporter was on September 4, 2008, when he was in ITV’s ITV Lunchtime News to announce that Kevin Keegan had resigned as Newcastle United manager.
In February 2009 Pete joined Sky Sports News as a reporter. However, from June 2009 he was used mainly as a Presenter.
Pete wrote, produced and hosted a special one-hour programme dedicated to the life of his hero Sir Bobby Robson to mark his 75th birthday. The programme received widespread recognition and was aired again following Sir Bobby’s death in July 2009.
Pete was recruited into Real Radio (formerly Century Radio) in 2007. He was an sports reporter, and continued to provide the live broadcast for Newcastle United matches. His new co-commentator was Bobby Moncur. His debut game played on Real Radio was the 2-1 victory against Liverpool F.C. in February 2007.
Pete was eventually appointed to the head of the commentary for every Newcastle United matches working alongside Mick Martin. His debut Premier League match was Newcastle’s draw 0-0 against Portsmouth F.C. in the month of October, 2005. He was only 23 years old.
He made his television debut as a freelance sports correspondent/presenter on ITV’s North East Tonight in February 2008.
