From a relatively early age, Sharpe has proven to have great athletic abilities. His father, Robert was even more convinced that his son was born for sports when he caught a football with one hand at only 5 years old.

Initially, Sharpe played football for the London Junior Mustangs and while enjoying his time as a footballer, he also ventured into basketball for conditioning. He appeared in a football semifinal for his team before attending high school.

Unfortunately, Sharpe broke his right leg during the game, causing his family to have a change of heart concerning his football career. Although the injury changed the trajectory of his wishes, it didn’t keep him from pursuing a career in sports.

The young basketball star, Shaedon Sharpe, is one of three children born to his parents, Robert Sharpe, and Julia Bell. He grew up dabbling in sports alongside his siblings namely Nishayne and Amari Sharpe.

Moreover, he has a cousin Dasan Brown who is a member of the Toronto Blue Jays. He grew up in a town known for its affinity with football and hockey, however, Sharpe found his calling in basketball.

For his junior year, the athlete transferred to Dream City Christian School, Glendale, Arizona. There he averaged 21.4 points and 6 rebounds per game in the Grind Session.
